On June 4th, 2009, Jadestone Networks, the Norway-based owner and operator of multiplayer gaming networks GamArena and DiceArena, has debut its brand new backgammon network, which is currently being offered at Bwin and PAF. NordicBet and Triobet will also debut with the brand new service over the following days.
Two additional gaming partners will join the network later in the summer and more will join the network in the fall. With such solid network distribution, the liquidity should be enough. The Business Development Director of Jadestone, Tobias Nissen, said that they have observed that backgammon is a very popular game. He added that they have a lot of success with the simplified backgammon variation in GamArena, so they are now increasing the stakes by adding the real thing.
Nissen said that they want to become the biggest network and be the first choice for diehard backgammon enthusiasts across the European continent. Compared to the existing GamArena internet backgammon, the new backgammon version is a complete overhaul, made from scratch with information and support from dedicated backgammon player familiar with online gaming. The requested features that have been added by Jadestone Networks include: doubling cube, match series and tournaments.
