A diamond encrusted chessboard and backgammon board is included at the gems auction at the ICA on May 9, 2007. Various other gems are also up for sale at the auction.

The Hugh Allen Jr. Backgammon Tournament is held in memory of Hugh Allen Jr. by his friends. The main beneficiary of the event is the American Cancer Society.
