The 2007 Backgammon Tournament organized by Ms. Astaire is hoping to raise enough money for the One-to-One. Officials are also hoping to exceed the $100,000 they earned last year.

Mohia Maat is the champion of the first Backgammon tournament ever held by the Trinidad Backgammon Association. The tournament was held again in March 27, 2007 at the same venue.
