Play65 to Hold World Series Of Backgammon Qualifiers
On May 1st, 2008, Play65 announced that they will hold qualifiers for the upcoming World Series of Backgammon championship which will be held on July 21st, 2008 on the Palm Beach Casino in Cannes, France. Each winner of the three qualifiers of Play65 World Series of Backgammon will be awarded with a 10,000 euros slot at the final table of the 2nd World Series of Backgammon. Play65 is making a monumental effort in erasing the line between playing backgammon on online casinos and land-based casinos.
After making great progress at the nineteenth City of Venice International Backgammon Tournament and assisting top backgammon players at the 2008 Nordic Open Backgammon Tournament, the site is hoping to help realize the dreams of the three online backgammon qualifiers at competing in the 2007-2008 World Series of Backgammon finals in France. On the 2nd week of May and on the 1st week of June and July, a special qualifier event will happen on Play65 backgammon software.
About 2,000 euros will be shared by the top sixteen finishers in the event aside from the 10,000 euros slot at the World Series of Backgammon event that will be given to the top finisher. The entry cost for the World Series of Backgammon qualifiers will cost around 90 euros. But players can get free entry to the WSOB qualifiers by placing 1st in any of the satellites that are offered by Play65. The World Series of Backgammon is widely expected to be the finale of a triumphant season.
Beginning in November 2007 at the U.K. Masters and continued at the Nordic Open. The 2007-2008 WSOB will reach its end by mid July at the Palm Beach casino facility in Cannes, France, initially at the Riviera Cup and the final table of the World Series of Backgammon event.
The tournament will also feature well-known players in the tour and the champions of the U.K. Masters, Nordic Open and Riviera Cup event. There are three reserve slots that are awaiting the winners of the qualifiers that will be held on Play65.
