Sportingbet Renews Partnership With GameAccount Network for Skill Games
On May 19th, 2009, online gaming organization Sportingbet has finalized a multi-year licensing agreement with skill game software gaming provider GameAccount Network renewing its long-term partnership with the organization.
Jim Wilkinson, the Group Finance Director at Sportingbet plc. Said that GameAccount has been making games for Sportingbet since 2004 and their gaming software today produces a significant proportion of net gaming revenue for their casino and games business by featuring browser-based casino games with a particular advantage in person-to-person skill games, event and gaming localization for European markets.
He added that this agreement ensures that their gamers continue to enjoy unprecedented access to one of the biggest communities of skill games in Europe and matches with their strategy of giving their players the best gaming experience as possible.
Dermot Smurfit, GameAccount chief operating officer said that they are very happy to continue their relationship with Sportingbet and giving a good experience to their players. He added that their focus on skill games like backgammon is delivering results with good earnings per active gamer day. Smurfit said that the game of backgammon is gaining a steady following among online players so they think that it is only appropriate to feature the game in their portfolio.
